Overview

Our white bread & roll mix is a versatile product that produces great tasting bread and other items. This mix is easy to use and tastes delicious!.  You just need to add water and yeast.  This bread can be used in bread makers or bake it in your oven.  This mix is great for making cinnamon rolls, rolls, bread sticks, and other great tasting bread products.  Use it for a pizza dough when you want to make pizza.  This is just not for great tasting bread; this mix is very handy in your kitchen when you want to make something great tasting, but you do not have the time to do it.  This is a necessity for your long term food storage needs. 

Ingredients:  Bleached wheat flour (enriched with niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, malted barley & folic acid), sugar, soybean oil, salt, L-Cysteine hydrochloride (dough conditioner), whey (from milk), soy flour, mono & diglycerides, yeast food (calcium & ammonium sulfate, starch, ascorbic acid, azecarbonamide).

Contains:  Wheat, milk and soy.

Shelf life estimates are based on industry studies from sources deemed reputable. Since Rainy Day Foods has no control over individual storage practices, they must disclaim any liability or warranty for particular results.

Shelf Life:  Should be stored in cool dark place- optimum condition is 60 degrees or less- for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store up to 3-5 years. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.

Directions:  Dissolve 2 Tbsp. instant yeast in 2 1/4 cups warm water (105-110 degrees F).  Add 6 cups bread mix.  Knead until dough is smooth and elastic OR mix for 10-12 minutes using dough hook on 2nd speed.  Cover and let rest for 10-20 minutes.  Divide into 3 pieces, shape into loaves, place into well greased bread pans.  Let rise in pans until dough is approximately 1 inch over top of pan, about 30-40 minutes.  For rolls: divide into 36 pieces and place on baking sheet until dough has doubled in size.  Cover dough with towel while it is rising.  Place in preheated oven.  For bread: bake at 375 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.  For rolls: bake 12-15 minutes.  Remove from oven and butter tops.

*Dough is thoroughly developed when you can pull off a small piece and pull it to form a paper thin sheet.
